ago 6dWhat if one day or night a demon were to sneak into your loneliest solitude and say to you: "This life, as you now live it and have lived it, you will have to live once more and innumerable times more; and there will be nothing new in it, every pain and every pleasure and every thought and sigh and everything unspeakably small and great in your life will have to return, all in the same order and sequence" - Friedrich Nietzsche. The first time I read this passage I thought what fool would be capable of accepting such an agreement? How could someone adore their own misfortunes to the point of accepting them eternally? Now that fool is me, I accept without any shame all my pains just to have these small moments with you eternally. The eternal wheel of life will turn and I will suffer in anguish to have you for a few brief moments. What terrible pain, but for the pleasure I feel in you it would be worth it.
