Why is the chat crashing and the image quality poor?
The quality of the transmission depends on two main factors:
- Stability and connection speed of the performer
- Stability and connection speed of the user
If the chat room is freezing up, check that your internet connection is stable. A good and practical test is to see if you can watch a video on websites such as YouTube without experiencing buffering or freezing.
Tips to improve the stability of speed of your connection:
- If you are connected via mobile phone, try switching between 4G and Wifi.
- If you are connected via mobile phone and receiving a 3G signal, try to find a location where the network is 4G.
- If you are connected via mobile phone to a 4G network, try to find a location where all the connection bars are full.
- If you are connected via computer, trying to switch between WiFi and Cable.
- If you are connected via a shared network, turn off other devices that are using the internet such as a Smart TV, mobile phones or other computers.
- If you are downloading files, pause those downloads while in a live chat room.
- Try rebooting the modem provided by your internet service provider.
* Be sure when switching between 4G, Wifi or cable, that you only do this when you are not in a chat room. Switching your connection type while in a chat room will cause you to be disconnected.
It is important to note that each performer is responsible for the broadcast quality of their live chat shows. That's is why we recommend users first try out the Free Chat mode of a performer to ensure that the quality and speed meets expectations before starting a paid chat show.
If the website is experiencing any type of instability issues, all users will be notified.
