Every animal I saw in the neighborhood that needed help was sick, so I took them in, cared for them, and became attached to them, all of which ended up staying, lol. The backyard full of animals became challenging. My husband at the time started complaining. Then I had the idea: I rented a house with a yard and set up a shelter for them. Now they have a home with plenty of space, and peace reigns in the house again, lol. I hired a gentleman, Mr. João, who comes over every day to provide water, food, and cleaning, etc. I have a lot of expenses with the place, including cleaning products, food, medications, neutering, etc. In February 2025, I discovered the website. I thought it was a great way to raise money to continue my project with peace of mind. That's my goal here on the site. Anyone who can genuinely help, we appreciate it.
