As Aristotle would say, 'the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.' A true relationship follows the same logic: two people, individually complete, but who, when connected, create something greater than they could be alone. And echoing Friedrich Nietzsche, 'what is done out of love is always beyond good and evil.' Because, in the end, connection is not mathematics or rules, it's intensity, it's a daily choice, it's a bond that defies logic and transforms two paths into one, even though each maintains their own pace. What is generosity? It's not just the act of giving, but the inner disposition to recognize in others the same dignity that dwells within you. Being generous isn't limited to offering material goods, but is revealed in attentive listening, shared time, and silent empathy. It's a virtue that breaks with natural selfishness, inviting the individual to transcend their own interests in favor of something greater: the common good. True generosity doesn't expect anything in return, as it finds its reward in the gesture itself, as if each act of giving were also a reunion with the most human essence of the giver. And I conclude with a quote from Simone de Beauvoir: "The ideal of love and true generosity is to give everything of oneself, but always to feel as if it cost you nothing."
