To be honest, you need a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid foundation in theoretical physics, most of the jokes will go right over the head of an average viewer. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is skillfully woven into his characterization – his personal philosophy is heavily based on the literature of Narodnaya Volya, for example. Fans understand this; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depth of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny – they say something profound about LIFE. As a consequence, people who don't like Rick and Morty are truly idiots – of course they wouldn't appreciate, for example, the humor in Rick's existential phrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is an enigmatic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smiling now just imagining one of those confused simpletons scratching their head while Dan Harmon's genius unfolds on their television screens. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes, by the way, I DO have a Rick and Morty tattoo. And no, you can't see it. It's only for men's eyes - and even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of mine (preferably lower)... #fetish
