Psyche falls into an endless sleep after falling into a trap set by Aphrodite, who was angry with her for hurting her son Eros. Eros later recovers and finds his wife Psyche. He revives her using his power, in this case represented as his kiss. Sculpted by Antonio Canova (1757–1822) in 1787. In the Louvre Museum since 1824.
