SEED When you tried to silence me And took the words from me, My body became poetry. My curves have changed. Today I'm verses and stanzas, Scars and stories, Of an art you never really understood. I don't carry guilt in me, Because now I finally understand: You would never really see me. And I couldn't stand being invisible forever. I'm not my success and my achievements Without all my drama and sensitivity. The best part of me doesn't fit on the cover, Nor on lists or on a bank statement. I'm sorry, I'm not made of numbers like you. I am feelings. The rest is a consequence of that. One day you admired everything I've built, but the next you wanted to throw away my most important bricks. Book: My body became poetry – Bruna Vieira #morena
