I climbed Morro do Couto with my body alert and my soul on fire. The wind cut through my skin like someone whispering ancient secrets, and I listened. Amidst the rocks and silence, I felt my own rhythm return to me, as if nature were calling me by name. The sky opened up completely, blue and unhurried, and for a moment, I was part of the landscape: like a cloud that doesn't need to arrive, just floats. I left a piece of myself up there, or perhaps I brought back something that was always mine.
