September 7th is a momentous day for our historical milestone, celebrating Brazil's independence, proclaimed by Dom Pedro I, nicknamed "Demonão," but which carries a profound correlation with the name Domitila. Did you know? If not, you will soon. HAHAHA Dom Pedro I, besides being the first Brazilian Emperor, was always adventuring in Brazil, especially with Domitila de Castro de Canto e Mello, known as Domitila, Marquise of Santos, and intimately by him, "Titila." Domitila, besides having her daring side, was a woman who marked the beginning of a new generation, even pitching the idea to our First Emperor for our first law school in Brazil, thus producing our first jurists. It's no coincidence that Domitila is known as the Matriarch by the university students in Largo de São Francisco. I'll bring you more historical facts soon. Besides loving a good dirty story, I love history, and I love those who realize that 😍 Kisses, have a good holiday, and I'll be here.
