A dog is a dog, people are people. A dog has to be treated like a dog - with respect to its faithfulness, its character. Because dog doesn't cheat. Do not lie. Dog loves you for who you are, whoever you are! Dog doesn't pretend, doesn't forge, doesn't cheat. Dog only knows what he feels. Go hungry at your side - and if you don't think it's nice not to have something to eat, at least don't call you a bastard, a loser or incompetent. He won't even paw your ass and leave you for someone more attractive. Dog doesn't play scene games. It doesn't hold a grudge. Dog is emotionally intelligent. Forgive without your having to beg forgiveness. And once forgiven, forgiveness is permanent. Why would we treat a being as if it were a person? So, it's totally clueless and inconsistent to treat people like a dog.
