And I'll surround you with sad stories, Other hilarious and cheeky ones... Maybe one day I'll tell you, how cruel life was to me, And the many times I thought I'd give up, And then, out of nowhere, maybe I'll start to smile, remembering so many other times, when I felt absurdly happy… Maybe one day I'll tell you about myself… And maybe you'll feel happy. For not having known me before, or be sad for not knowing me in depth. Then I'll tell you about the most beautiful thing I've ever experienced, love... And all my stories will become just one more. Maybe one day I'll tell you about me... Maybe one day you'll remember me... And so, I'll be present in your past, I'll remember your friend's affection, I'll wrap myself in the longing for your breath, And I'll leave, like the breeze, like time itself, which takes its toll without pretense.
