It was one of those conversations that we feel more than we understand, light, full of exchanges, loose smiles and moments that seemed to float outside of time. We laughed, listened to each other, and unintentionally we were drawing little maps of each other. Time, that distracted accomplice, passed too quickly... perhaps because when there is a true connection, the hours become brief. And as you said, there was a tone of mystery in the air, not the kind that confuses, but the kind that invites. Because there is curiosity on both sides, an almost silent desire to discover more, to go back and continue where we left off. It was brief, but it lasted. And what lasts without effort usually has a rare value. This little time with you was good... good in the kind of way that makes you want to repeat it.
