Asmodeus is one of the 72 spirits of Goetia. He is a great, strong and powerful king. Above him there is no other. There are accounts of him in Judaism, Christianity and Zoroastrianism. His name may come from the Hebrew shamad (שמד; to exterminate, to destroy); or also from the name of the Persian demon Aeshma deva, who is associated with anger. In his first mentions in history, he was always associated with anger, but in the Book of Tobit, in the Bible, he begins to be associated with lust. He is today known as the demon of anger and lust. Asmodeus governs carnal and non-traditional sexual practices. Blood. Aggression. Addiction. Fetishism. Violence. Creation.
