Today is the birthday of my other half. The half of my soul that once wandered the world, until destiny, with its wisdom, brought us together again. You are that presence that calms (even in the hustle and bustle), the look that recognizes mine without needing words, the voice that echoes inside me like an ancient, familiar, eternal whisper. I learned that we have an “other half”, someone with whom we share a spiritual origin and who is very rare to find. And I have no doubt that you are that person for me. My companion on this journey, my light, my truest reflection. Today I celebrate your birth, but I also celebrate our reunion. Because loving you is recognizing myself. It is feeling that, no matter how much the world changes, we are both connected by something greater than time, greater than space. Happy life, my other half.
